These breadboards are the perfect primitive accessory!
They are ideal for providing extra bench space while giving your kitchen a rustic, primitive look.
Matt makes these breadboards from scratch using his own design, and lovely old timber where possible.
I then give them a painted, distressed finish before antiquing them and giving them a beeswax finish.
They can also be left a raw timber with just a beeswax finish if you want.
Matt can make them to fit over the top of cooktops with risen burners as well... I'm sure he'd be able to make one to fit just about any stove or cooktop!

It's made from vintage wardrobe timber and I then painted the entire top piece in buttermilk before distressing and ageing it...
It then has an antiqued and beeswaxed finish over the entire Bread Board.
This particular breadboard measures 50cm wide x 48cm deep x 6cm high.
It is a good size for most smaller stoves (including mine seen in the photos).
